Guatemalan Ceremonial Weavings

These are vintage handwoven weavings circa 1980. Each piece was individually woven for an indigenous ceremony (birth,death,wedding,festival... No two pieces are identical and the weave is unique to each piece. They range from 40 to 70 years old.
